Engraved folding frontispiece and additional decorative title to each volume, 153 engraved plates (1 folding). (Light browning, occasional minor spotting, minor marginal tear with loss to plate facing p.262 of vol. I, damp-staining to margin of 2 plates facing p.209 of vol. II.) Contemporary marbled-calf, spines gilt (extremities bumped and scuffed, chipped with loss to head of spines, joints splitting).
