PARKER, Thomas. An Essay, or Practical Inquiry Concerning the Hanging & Fastening of Gates and Wickets. London: Lackington, Allen, & Co., 1801. 8vo (218 x 133mm.) 4 engraved plates at rear. (Light browning and spotting, minor marginal tear without loss to plate II, marginal tears with loss to leaves prior to B2 not affecting text.) Later boards, original gilt morocco lettering piece laid-down to spine (extremities scuffed, joints splitting, some damp-staining and rubbing to covers, endpapers replaced).
