RACKHAM, Arthur (illustrator). - Washington IRVING. Rip Van Winkle. London & New York: William Heinemann and Doubleday, Page & Co., 1919. 4to (248 x 182mm.) Tipped-in colour frontispiece, 50 tipped-in colour plates. (Light browning, slightly affected by damp, not affecting plates, occasional minor tear to tissue guards.) Original green pictorial cloth (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, spine darkened, slightly soiled). Provenance: H.C. Parsons (presentation inscription dated 1926 from M.E. Hardy). - And two other volumes, all illustrated by Rackham (3).
