BOOK OF HOURS. [An illuminated vellum leaf from a Horae or Book of Hours. N.p. but Paris: n.d. but circa 1460-1480.] 1 vellum leaf (43 x 45mm.) Recto and verso each with 13 lines of text in brown and red ink on red ruled lines, recto with one double-line illuminated initial, verso with five (two double-line, three single) illuminated initials, and three line fillers, with scrolling illuminated polychrome foliate border to one side. (Light browning and wrinkling of vellum, very minor cracking to foliate border.) Contained within a modern window mount and hardwood frame.
