SMITH, John Thomas. Antiquities of London and it's Environs. London: J. Sewell, 1791. 4to (297 x 230mm.) Engraved title, 96 plates. (Light browning and spotting, library ink stamps to all plate margins.) 19th century calf, spine gilt in six compartments, lettered in the second, the others with repeat foliate decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (extremities scuffed and rubbed with loss to lower-cover, joints splitting). Provenance: Henry H. Gibbs (inscription to preliminary blank); Worthing Public Library (library ink stamp to title, bookplate and stickers to endpapers).
