Engraved frontispiece, additional decorative title, engraved map, 76 engraved plates only (of 78). (Light browning, some spotting and offsetting, occasionally heavy, some minor marginal damp-staining, marginal tear without loss to plate facing p.6.) Contemporary half-calf, spine in five compartments with gilt raised bands, lettering piece in the second compartment, the others tooled in blind (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, upper-joint starting to split).
