[LANE, James Winter]. An Account of the Life of Linnaeus with an Easy Introduction to Botany, J.W.L. [N.p.:] one section dated 1806. Oblong folio (215 x 235mm.) Manuscript text on approximately 163 leaves with 12 watercolour or mounted engraved illustrations. (Occasional light browning.) Modern cloth-backed boards. Provenance: Lesley Gordon (bookplate to front pastedown). Note: James Winter Lane purportedly lived in Busbridge near Godalming in Surrey.
