MORRIS, F.O. A Natural History of the Nests and Eggs of British Birds. London: George Bell and Sons, 1875. 3 vols., 4to (253 x 172mm.) 3 colour frontispieces, 230 colour plates, 8pp. advertisements at rear of each volume. (Light browning and spotting, sometimes affecting plates, slight soiling to plate facing p.111 of vol. II.) Original pictorial cloth blocked in gilt and blind, spines gilt (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, joints splitting, upper-hinge split with spine detached to vol. III). Provenance: West Sussex County Library (library lending stickers to endpapers of each volume, ink stamps to reverse of titles).
