MINIATURE BOOKS. Quintus Horatius Flaccus. London: Gulielmus Pickering, 1824. 8vo (83 x 43mm.) Additional decorative title. (Light browning, occasional minor spotting or soiling.) Contemporary calf, spine gilt in five compartments, lettering piece to second compartments the others with repeat decoration in gilt (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, heavier scuffs to upper-cover). Provenance: R.H. Gatty, Charterhouse (inscription to preliminary blank). - And seven other miniature books, a metal magnifying tin for a miniature book and a diminutive bookcase containing twenty-seven handwritten miniature volumes (a quantity).
