Oxford: Bartlett, Newman and Bartlett, 1817. Folio (424 x 255mm.) Engraved frontispiece, additional decorative title, numerous engraved plates. (Some browning, spotting, damp-staining and occasional soiling.) Contemporary mottled-calf (extremities bumped and scuffed, joints split, stitching weak, majority of spine lacking).Provenance: Henry Pochin (inscribed twice 'Henry Pochin a gift from his father 1879' to preliminary blank); later owned by Henry, Phyllis and John Pochin (names inscribed by later hand to preliminary blank).
