REMINGTON, Frederic (illustrator). Drawings by Frederic Remington. New York & London: R.H. Russell & Lawrence & Bullen, 1897. Oblong folio (293 x 444mm.) Numerous uncoloured plates. (Light browning, occasional minor light spotting.) Original cloth-backed pictorial boards (extremities bumped and scuffed, soiled, hinges split). Provenance: T. Edgar Pemberton (presentation inscription to Pemberton, author and theatre critic, dated 1897 to front-free endpaper). - And two other illustrated volumes (Arthur LOCKER. 'The Complete Collection of Randolph Caldecott's Contributions to The Graphic'. London: George Routledge and Sons, 1888; Basil Wynne WILLSON. 'Lucian's Wonderland'. Edinburgh & London: William Blackwood and Sons, 1899). Provenance: from the estate of the late Michael Gilkes FRCS, FRCOphth., FRGS (3).
