(Facsimile folding map as frontispiece, light browning, occasional spotting, soiling and creasing, ink marginalia to p.95.) Contemporary pictorial cloth blocked in gilt (rebacked with old spine laid down, recornered, hinges reinforced, front-free endpaper replaced). Provenance: from the estate of the late Michael Gilkes FRCS, FRCOphth., FRGS.
