ENGINEERING. - James Weir FRENCH. Modern Power Generators. London: The Gresham Publishing Company, [n.d.]. 2 vols., 4to (334 x 235mm.) 11 chromolithographed composite sectional models. (Light browning and spotting, sometimes heavier to plates.) Original cloth blocked in black and gilt designed by Talwin Morris (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, slightly blistered by damp, minor repairs to joints). - And two other volumes by James Weir FRENCH ('Machine Tools'. London: 1911). Provenance: from the estate of the late Michael Gilkes FRCS, FRCOphth., FRGS (4).
