A pair of graduated 9ct gold and enamelled civic medals, each decorated with the town crest 'Borough of Wednesbury', the backs presentation inscribed 'J. Smith J.P. Mayor, N.P. Lester Town Clerk June 1937', within an outer inscription, 'Presented to Alderman B.W. Griffiths ...' to one, 'Presented to Mrs B.W. Griffiths ...' to the other, both Chester 1936 by Thomas James Skelton, lengths 8.2cm and 6.8cm, both cased, the interior lid detailed 'L. Wilkins Jeweller Wednesbury'.
