A late 19th/early 20th century Louis Vuitton travelling trunk with overall monogram and quatrefoil decoration on a brown ground, the edges and corners with black painted metal mounts, the lid and sides with applied wooden straps, the canvas lined interior fitted with a removable tray, bearing manufacturer's paper label and numbered '212671', the sides with inscribed initials 'H.M.R.', height 32cm, width 81cm, depth 50cm.
