A Chinese bronze scroll/brushpot, Ming dynasty, of cylindrical form with attractive glossy patina, the exterior moulded in relief with upper and lower friezes, one with peaks and mountains, the other with overlapping waves, each incorporating auspicious archaic characters, separated by three hooped borders, height 21.8cm (minor repairs).
