A George II Scottish silver sauce boat of oval form with foliate capped scroll handle, the interior pouring lip and rim engraved with a scallop shell against a scale ground and stems of flowers, raised on scroll shouldered scroll legs and hoof feet, Edinburgh circa 1735 by William Aytoun, assay master's mark of Archibald Ure, length 17.5cm.
