A Powell & Hanmer brass self-contained acetylene headlamp with carrying handle and brackets for stirrup mount, the hinged lid enclosing carbide compartment (reservoir missing), bearing copper maker's plate, the hinged front with bevelled glass and condenser lens, height 27cm (minor dents and repairs, some perishing to rim). Provenance: from the estate of the late Alistair Morris.
