A Chinese Canton export sandalwood folding fan, mid-19th century, the guards and fourteen sticks carved in relief and pierced with typical village scenes, the paper panel painted with a continuous scene of figures in and out of doors, each with appliqué ivory facial detail, length 27.8cm (some faults), within a glazed display case.
