LOT 743
A Royal Air Force Navigator's, Air Bomber's and Air Gunner's Flying Log Book to W/O R.E. Stubbs, Air Gunner, recording 328 hours 30 mins, types of aircraft flown in comprise Oxford, Anson, Wellington II, Wellington X, Halifax II, Halifax III and Dakota, flying with 158 Squadron as rear gunner in a Halifax on a mission to Aachen, the aircraft was lost and W/O Stubbs was taken prisoner, together with an air gunner's half-wing, a Caterpillar Club membership card for 'Sgt. R.E. Stubbs', two photographs of Halifax crew, a group of photographs taken at Stalag IIIA, prisoner-of-war paperwork and a quantity of letters to Vera Dale.
