PSALMS. The Psalmes Or, Prayers Taken Out of the Holy Scripture: commonly called, The Kings Psalmes [with] The Queen's Prayers or Meditations. London: Valentine Sims, 1606. 12mo (127 x 76 mm) Elaborate engraved printer's device to title page, scrolled decorative borders to leaves. (Occasional insect damage with occasional loss.) Contemporary limp vellum, gilt tooled armorial to covers contained within double fillet borders, the spine gilt. (Minor rubbing and soiling to extremities). Note: rare, only known copy held at Cambridge University. Provenance: Susan Clarke (18th Century ink signature).
