BLACKBURN, [Jemima]. Birds Drawn from Nature. Glasgow: James Maclehose, 1868. Folio (370 x 263mm.) 45 lithographs, 1p. of advertisements bound as frontispiece. (Spotting and light browning.) Original pictorial cloth blocked in gilt (extremities bumped and scuffed, hinges splitting). Provenance: J. Campbell Lorimer (presentation inscription to title-page addressed 'To Mother'); Peter Herbertson (signed and dated 1958 in pencil to title-page, and an a.l.s. from Aunt Agatha addressed to Peter discussing the book).
