[PENNANT, Thomas.] Genera of Birds. London: B. White, 1781; [bound with:] Histoire Naturelle des Oiseaux, par le Comte de Buffon, and les Planches Enluminées, systematically disposed. London: printed for B. White and Son, 1786. 4to (242 x 181mm.) Engraved decorative title and 15 engraved ornithological plates to Pennant, additional engraved decorative title to Buffon. (Light browning, some spotting, sometimes heavy to plates.) Near contemporary calf (rebacked and cornered, extremities lightly bumped and scuffed, endpapers replaced). Provenance: West Sussex County Library (ink stamps and labels to endpapers and reverse of title).
