VIEL-CASTEL, Horace de. Statuts de L'Ordre du Saint-Esprit au Droit Desir ou du Noeud Institué a Naples en 1352 par Louis D'Anjou. Paris: Engelmann et Graf, 1853. Folio, printed in facsimile (440 x 310mm.) 17 full-page chromolithographed facsimile plates. (Some light browning and spotting, spotting heavier to some plate margins, marginal tears without loss to many plate margins, plate 13 soiled.) Contemporary morocco elaborately tooled in gilt and blind, spine gilt in seven compartments with raised bands, gilt turn-ins (extremities lightly bumped and scuffed). Provenance: Worthing Public Library (bookplate to front pastedown, ink stamps to title, occasional leaves and plate margins).
