GROSE, Francis, and Thomas ASTLE. The Antiquarian Repertory: A Miscellaneous Assemblage… Intended to Illustrate and Preserve Several Valuable Remains of Old Times… a new edition. London: Edward Jeffery, 1807-1809. 4 vols., (303 x 239mm.) Numerous plates, including folding plate of the Great Fire of London. (Some browning and spotting, heavier to plates, occasional minor soiling.) Contemporary half-calf, g.e. (extremities bumped, scuffed and slightly soiled, some boards detached, other joints split, loss of leather to spines, one volume with spine lacking). Provenance: J. Hornsby Wright (armorial bookplate to front pastedown); West Sussex County Council Library Service (numerous stickers and stamps to endpapers and reverse of titles).
