STONHAM, Charles. The Birds of the British Islands. London: E. Grant Richards, 1906-1911. 20 parts in 5 vols., 4to (315 x 240mm.) 2 colour folding maps to vol. I, numerous uncoloured plates. (Light browning and spotting, some offsetting or occasional minor soiling.) 20th century calf-backed boards (extremities lightly bumped, endpapers replaced). Provenance: West Sussex County Library (ink stamps and labels to endpapers, reverse of titles and occasional leaves). - And one other volume relating to English plants (James BRITTEN and Robert HOLLAND. 'A Dictionary of English Plant-Names'. London: Trübner & Co., 1886) (6).
