BIBLE, In English. The Holy Bible, Containing the Old and New Testaments. London: George Eyre and Andrew Strahan, 1826. Folio (430 x 265mm.) 38 hand-coloured plates, 2 hand-coloured folding maps bound at rear. (Light browning and spotting, heavier to title, marginal tears with loss to first few leaves, some repaired tears to first few leaves, some affecting text, some offsetting of plates, marginal repaired tear to plate 'The Judgement of Solomon', large repaired tears to folding maps with associated browning.) 20th century morocco (extremities scuffed and lightly bumped, endpapers replaced).
