A Japanese silk embroidered panel, Meiji period, worked in gilt and coloured thread with two hexagonal boxes and covers, one decorated with minnogame roundel above flying cranes and clouds, the other with pine, bamboo and clouds, containing clams, its cover to one side within a surround of further clam shells and gilt scrolling braid, all against a dark blue ground, 66cm x 66cm, framed and glazed.
