A Chinese silk embroidered and pleated skirt, late Qing dynasty, the upper section with multi-coloured vertical stripes, the lower section finely embroidered in coloured threads, silver and gilt wire with dragons, exotic birds, butterflies, bats and flowers, above waves, divided by lappet panels decorated with flowerheads and spiders, hung with censer tassels, length 97cm (some faults).
