A late 19th century French silver cased diminutive carriage timepiece, the movement backplate stamped 'L. Leroy & Cie Paris' and numbered '18649', the circular white enamel dial with black Arabic numerals and inscribed 'Leroy Paris', the case of rectangular form, the hinged back door interior engraved 'Anc. Horologers Du Roi No. 18649, L. Leroy 8. Cie, 7 Bouldde de la Madeleine Paris', on bun feet, height 6.5cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late John Young (1927-2017).
