A Japanese Arita 'clobbered' blue and white porcelain jar, 18th century, the ovoid body painted in underglaze blue with a continuous landscape, later embellished in polychrome enamels with dragons and flowers on a green speckled ground, the similarly decorated Chinese domed cover with a knop finial, iron red enamelled pseudo seal mark to base, height 33cm (chip to rim).
