A rare Chinese famille rose export porcelain circular bowl, Qianlong period, the exterior painted with opposing East Indiaman ships, each with ensign flying, flanked by a pair of flower sprays and bianco-sopra-bianco flowers, the interior with central flower beneath floral and pink trellis rim, diameter 23.4cm (three hairlines to rim).
