A late 19th century French giltwood and gesso tub back armchair, the show frame carved with ribbon border, guilloche band and acanthus leaf sprays, upholstered in peach satin, on cabriole legs and scroll feet, height 106cm, width 73cm. Provenance: from the estate of the late John Young (1927-2017).
