A mid-19th century Transitional style kingwood parquetry veneered planter with overall gilt metal mounts, the Sèvres style porcelain panels painted with flowers within turquoise and gilded bands, raised on foliate scrolling feet, height 35cm, width 51cm, depth 36cm (faults and repairs). Provenance: from the estate of the late John Young (1927-2017).
