After Oliver Sheppard - a 20th century cast copper figure of the Death of Cuchulainn, the Celtic warrior tied to a rock with raven perched on his shoulder, the reverse inscribed 'Manufactured in Republic of Ireland under licence from the Commissioner of Public Works', raised on a green hardstone base, height 23.5cm. Note: the original has been situated at the General Post Office in Dublin since December 1934.
