A 19th century Continental carved ivory oliphant (hunting horn), decorated in relief with a continuous hunting scene of two men and various beasts running through a forest, terminating in a group of animal heads issuing a single beast's head, its mouth fitted with a turned mouthpiece, the sides with a pair of applied suspension loops, length 47cm (some chips).
