(text and plates), small 4to (257 x 184mm.) 169 full-page illustrations of beetles. (Ownership inscription in ink on both front-free endpapers, five or six small ink annotations within the text of vol. 1.) Original black cloth (bumped to extremities), dust-jackets (unclipped, sunning to both spines and chipping to spine ends).
