LOWE, E.J. Our Native Ferns… Or a History of the British Species and their Varieties. London: George Bell & Sons, 1876. 2 vols, small 4to (259 x 170mm.) 42 coloured plates and numerous wood-engraved illustrations. (Spotting to preliminaries of both volumes and slightly to the titles, some pages uncut, spotting to the fore-edges.) Original green cloth blocked in gilt and blind to the upper covers (bumped to extremities). - And three other volumes on ferns and conifers (5).
