VERNER, Willoughby. My Life Among the Wild Birds in Spain. London: John Bale, Sons & Danielsson, 1909. Small 4to (237 x 187mm.) Frontispiece with tissue-guard, folding plate backed onto linen at rear, numerous plates and illustrations. (Spotting to all the preliminaries and rear leaves, occasional spotting to plate edges.) Original green cloth with gilt design to upper cover (extremities bumped). Provenance: J.W. Smith (bookplate to the front pastedown, a name in pencil obscured by the bookplate).
