BINDINGS. - William SHAKESPEARE. The Plays… edited by Manley Wood. London: for George Kearsley, 1806. 14 vols., 8vo (219 x 133mm.) Portrait frontispiece to vol. I, numerous plates. (Some spotting and browning throughout, heavier to plates, offsetting to plates.) Contemporary blue straight-grain morocco gilt, the covers with elaborate gilt tooled borders, the spines in five unequal compartments, lettered in the second, third and fourth compartments, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, gilt turn-ins, g.e. (rubbed and scuffed).
