London: Longmans, Green, Brown, and Longmans, 1856. First English edition, 8vo (223 x 136mm.) Portrait frontispiece. (Some light soiling, heavier to half-title.) Contemporary cloth, by Edmonds & Remnants, London, titled in gilt to the upper cover (soiled, and slightly faded, extremities bumped, spine frayed at head and foot, lacking front-free endpaper). Note: scarce, this posthumous memoir is the first published biography on Krusentstern.
