Frontispiece, 4 tinted-lithographed plates, 8pp. publisher's advertisements at rear, errata slip (a few pencil notes to rear.) Original green cloth blocked with a gilt heron in flight to upper cover (bumped to extremities, spine faded, residue of a bookplate to the front pastedown). - And six others on British Birds (including R. Bowdler Sharpe 'A Sketch-book of British Birds', 1898, 8vo) (7).
