MILITARY. Jugoslavia. London: Naval Intelligence Division, 1944. The Geographical Handbook Series - For Official use Only, 3 vols., 8vo (222 x 147mm.) Numerous illustrations, coloured folding maps, map in pocket at rear. Original brown cloth (some fading to spine, odd nick to the covers.) - And a quantity of other volumes from the Geographical Handbook Series, including another 3 vol. 'Jugoslavia' set. Provenance: Alan Sillitoe (most of these books have his signature in ink on the preliminaries, dated 1979. Sillitoe is best known for his novel 'The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner') (a quantity).
