Original cloth (minor soiling, extremities bumped, spine slightly frayed). Provenance: Lillian Wing Smith (signature to front-free endpaper and half-title); Edith W. Smith (inkstamp to title). Note: signed to the front-free endpaper by eight members of the Trapp family, comprising Maria von Trapp, Maria F. von Trapp, Lorli [Eleanore] von Trapp, Johannes von Trapp, Agatha von Trapp, Hedwig von Trapp, Martina von Trapp and Werner von Trapp; also signed by the director and conductor, Franz Wasner.
