SVENSSON, Roland. Lonely Isles… Being an Account of Several Voyages to the Hebrides and Shetland. Stockholm: Raben & Sjogren, 1954. Small 4to (265 x 220mm.) 3 colour illustrations, numerous black and white illustrations, all by the author. (Light spotting to the fore-edge.) Original cloth, lettering piece to spine, dust-jacket (mild browning to spine, shelfwear to head and foot). Provenance: 'Sandy' (presentation inscription signed by the author to front-free endpaper). - And eighteen other volumes by or on the work of C.F. Tunnicliffe and other artist-naturalists (including Jean Delacour, 'The Waterfowl of the World', illustrated by Peter Scott, 1974, 4 vols., 8vo, slipcase) (19).
