A pair of Chinese Canton famille rose export porcelain vases, mid/late 19th century, painted with opposing figural panels against a ground of birds amidst fruit and flowers, pairs of pink and blue glazed chilong applied to the shoulders beneath Buddhistic lion cub handles, height of vases 35.5cm (one with faults and restoration, converted to lampbases).
