LOT 350
An Edwardian silver inkstand of rectangular form with 'C' scroll outline, the central oval box engraved with Princess Margaret's Royal cypher, flanked by a pair of square cut glass inkwells with silver collars and hinged lids, and two pen recesses, raised on scroll legs and trefid feet, London 1905 by Stokes & Ireland Ltd, length 24.5cm. Provenance: given by HRH Princess Margaret to Sir Kenneth and Lady Blackburne, whilst he was serving as Governor to Antigua on the occasion of her visit.
