A silver and silver gilt interlocking chess set, designed by Cy Endfield, from a limited edition of 650, the FIDE official chess set commemorating the 1972 legendary chess battle between Bobby Fischer and Boris Spassky, each piece interlocking to form two cylinders, with a silver mounted folding chess board, London 1972 by Cy Endfield, cased and boxed. Note: Cyril Raker Endfield was a film director, magician and inventor best known for directing the film Zulu.
