A Chinese silver menu holder in the form of two fishes united by a pierced character mark, with engraved scale detail, maker's mark 'WO' to easel back, height 5.7cm, a .830 silver and niello thimble and spool holder of tapering cylindrical form, the screw thimble cover revealing a detachable spool, with overall chequer decoration, height 5cm, a pair of Continental silver salts and a .800 silver bonbon dish, together with a desk bell, the handle with a pendant figure of a child seated on a swing and a novelty desk bell in the form of a policeman's helmet. Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
