An Edwardian silver notepad holder in the form of a book, the front engraved 'Bessie', fitted with a notepad, Birmingham 1904 by William Henry Sparrow, height 4.7cm, a silver pin box of rectangular hemispherical form, on ball feet, the hinged lid detailed in relief with a pin and engraved 'Nell', Birmingham 1904, length 4.5cm, together with three silver vesta cases. Provenance: from the estate of the late Nellie Lenson-Smith (1928-2017).
